Frame engineering
Aerospace 6061 aluminium frame and fork
Designed entirely in the Netherlands, the KOBRA Sapero Urban weighs just 19 kg and is built from high-grade Aerospace 6061 aluminium. The uniquely developed connection between the rear fork and the mid-frame gives the Sapero an exceptionally stiff and strong structure, and you feel it on every ride.
An ergonomic design with high torsional stiffness transfers your power straight to the drivetrain: efficient, light to ride and stable every time.
Drivetrain
Gates Carbon Belt
The renowned Gates Carbon Drive belt runs quietly, needs little maintenance and lasts for years. Efficient power transfer and a well-judged gear ratio give exactly the right resistance and a natural pedalling feel.
Optional: the SJ Edition. Prefer to set the resistance yourself? The Sapero Urban can be fitted with a Shimano 11-speed system and a rust-resistant KMC chain.
Motor and assistance
Mivice M200 rear hub motor
The upgrade of the well-known M070+. A natural ride with strong torque, five assistance levels and a range of around 80 km.
Mivice was founded in 2017 by a former Bosch engineer and specialises in high-grade rear hub motors. A brand rising fast in the European market, and one any bike shop can service. Quality, power, quiet running and a natural feel.
The Mivice M200 is the newest in the line, and we're proud to say KOBRA is the first to launch this 2027 model, on the Sapero.
Control and confidence
Magura hydraulic disc brakes
Known for precise modulation and powerful braking in all conditions, so you stay in control even in the wet. Magura stands for quality.
Safety
120 lux front, 80 lux rear
The high-mounted, adjustable 120-lux headlight lights the road properly. The 80-lux rear light with integrated reflector makes you easier to see.
Comfort and grip
Strong wheelset and Schwalbe Big Ben Plus
Double-wall 27.5-inch aluminium rims with double bushing add strength. Schwalbe stands for quality, just like the Sapero. The Big Ben Plus Allroad tyres deliver grip, comfort, reflective sidewalls and puncture protection. A great combination of control and comfort.
A RIDE like no other
one bike, two worlds
Just want to cycle? Switch the motor off and the lightweight Sapero (19 kg) becomes an ordinary bike with exactly the right resistance. The Gates Carbon Belt runs taut and the kilometres pass easily.
Rather move quickly through the city? Switch the motor on and you glide over the tarmac. Smooth power that feels natural. A headwind, a steep bridge, an appointment you're about to miss? None of it is a problem on a Sapero.

Two frames, one story
Choose the frame that suits you, without compromise. The Urban and the Urban ST share the same technology, each with its own look.
Urban
± 1.65 m – 2 mA classic frame with a sporty, stable riding position for longer rides. The unique frame structure keeps torsion to a minimum for maximum control and power transfer. Designed around ergonomics for an excellent riding position. The KOBRA Sapero Urban is more than a fashion statement.
Urban ST
± 1.55 m – 1.85 mAn exceptionally low step-through without giving up stiffness, thanks to the unique frame structure. The KOBRA Sapero Urban ST feels like one piece. Easy to get on and off, with a fully adjustable riding position for relaxed rides.
